1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Seneca Esports website and participating in our programs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.

These Terms of Service apply to all visitors, users, and participants of Seneca Esports programs, including scholarship recipients.

2. Eligibility

To participate in Seneca Esports programs and scholarships, you must:

• Be a currently enrolled student at Seneca Polytechnic
• Maintain good academic standing as defined by Seneca policies
• Comply with all Seneca Students Federation regulations
• Meet specific eligibility requirements for individual programs

3. Scholarship Terms

Scholarship recipients agree to the following conditions:

• Maintain minimum GPA requirements as specified in the scholarship agreement
• Actively participate in assigned team activities and practices
• Represent Seneca Esports professionally at all competitions
• Adhere to the code of conduct for student athletes
• Complete all required training and orientation programs

4. Code of Conduct

All participants in Seneca Esports programs are expected to:

• Treat all players, staff, and opponents with respect
• Refrain from cheating, exploiting, or using unauthorized software
• Avoid toxic behavior, harassment, or discrimination of any kind
• Represent Seneca positively in all public interactions
• Follow all game-specific rules and tournament regulations

Violations of the code of conduct may result in suspension or removal from programs and forfeiture of scholarships.

5. Intellectual Property

The Seneca Esports name, logo, and all related materials are the property of the Seneca Students Federation. You may not use our branding without prior written permission.

By participating in our programs, you grant Seneca Esports permission to use your name, likeness, and gaming content for promotional purposes.

6. Limitation of Liability

Seneca Esports and the Seneca Students Federation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your participation in our programs. This includes but is not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.

7. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify participants of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued participation in our programs after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your participation in Seneca Esports programs immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to participate in programs and receive scholarships will cease immediately.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
